After searching high and low for a new pair of flat cognac boots, I finally landed on these.  Just in time, too, because as you can see by the wet ground and the overcast sky, this week cooled off and it’s even raining a bit!  Finally!

I’m amazed by how warm these boots kept me.  I’m always cold, but I was totally fine in this thin sleeveless dress without leggings because of these boots.  I guess I’ve really underestimated how warm boots can keep you.  Or, maybe…how warm a good pair of boots can keep you.  These are my new secret weapon against cold.
