Even though it’s been pretty humid ’round these parts, I was itching to wear this striped blazer. It’s the one I posted last week (3 Ways to Wear a Striped Blazer), and I’m reallyyyy glad it worked out in person. It’s a knit sweatshirt-like material that’s thinner than what I was expecting, but I’m not complaining about that. Especially given that I live in San Diego where it’s warmer rather than colder. It hangs nicely and fits me like a glove!
I wore this out to a friend’s birthday one evening when it was a *little* less humid. I barely tolerated having all my limbs covered, but sometimes you do dumb things in the name of style. (Tell me I’m not the only one!) Then I realized I could also wear the entire top half with shorts instead, like in this Insta…just add the necklace and we’ve got ourselves a deal. I LOVE the look with coral pants, but I’ll try it again for another day when it’s not so hot. If I ever want to wear a blazer, shorts + blazers it will be until cooler weather comes!
