If you missed the memo, I was away last week without internet or cell reception.  I came back and was thrust into Easter activities and celebrating B’s 30th birthday this weekend.  I’ve been recuperating with Thai food, ice cream, catching up on Grey’s Anatomy (I know, I can’t believe I still watch that show either…) and watching episodes of Dog Whisperer.  Because no time off is complete without the Dog Whisperer.

I wore this outfit for the Easter service at church.  I was about to do that thing where I had a new dress that I was on the fence about and almost ripped off the tag just to wear something new for Easter…but I stopped myself.  And I’m not gonna lie, I’m very proud of myself for that.  I already had a few perfectly good dresses for Easter, so I resisted temptation and took this old favorite and paired it with one of my new closet additions (blue blazer), and I felt like I had a totally fresh outfit.  (See this dress worn 5 other ways.)  I’m still on the fence about that new dress but I’m glad I didn’t make a premature decision and I love what I ended up wearing!
