Lace & Leopard

I’m recovering from being away for a week on two different trips. My souvenirs from one trip were a bunch of mosquito bites, complete with eight ON MY FACE. Seriously, who does that? At least on the next trip I got to see our best friends and their new baby. Is he precious or what?

I tried lace and leopard another time a couple of months ago but I had mixed feelings about it because of some of the other elements. Too many other trends happening. This time I took the same top and shoes and paired them with more classic and neutral elements, like the cognac faux leather jacket and navy chinos. Though it’s more subtle with just a hint of some trends, that’s pretty much right up my alley.
