Benson’s sister is getting married in June and had a free tasting for their reception that they couldn’t make.  (She currently lives in Singapore!)  So, like the wonderful siblings we are, we sacrificed a night last week to take her place and have free food served to us.  

For the wedding tasting I went springy to the max with my new top from Jane, which is a majorly addicting site, by the way.  Jane has daily deals on allllll sorts of stuff from a variety of boutiques.  The deal lasts for a couple of days or until supplies run out.  And their stuff is ALWAYS cute!  Holla if you know what I’m talking about.  

Anyway, I took a cue from Merrick on this outfit.  While I would have paired this top with white jeans on my own, I would not have thought to do PURPLE pumps!  Adding colorful shoes, whether flats or pumps, creates such a fun twist on an outfit.  Since I don’t have purple pumps YET (been looking since last spring!) I went with my new grey pumps from H&M.  Even though they’re much more subtle, I still love the twist that a little color in your shoe can give an outfit.
