The first time I wore this outfit a friend saw me, touched my jacket, and said definitively, “Like Michael Jackson.”  I gave her a weird look, and said, “UM, or like military inspired?”  Since she had no clue what “military-inspired” meant she simply proceeded to explain why my jacket made me look like Michael Jackson.  And it’s conversations like these that made me start a style blog.

BTW, if you can’t tell in these pics, my shirt is dark purple, not black…and I need to note that because I’m a fan of olive and dark purple together.  Throw in some gold accents and it might be love.  I can’t take credit for it.  I heard Clinton Kelly gush about it a few times on WNTW and if Clinton is gushing about something you’d better pay attention.
