The last picture is how I planned to wear this outfit, but a rainy morning last week bullied me into boots and a cardigan.  I think I like it better this way, anyway.  I love me a clean brown, black and white look! 

And, I miss this cardigan.  It was one of the first I’d bought, some 5-6 years ago.  I wore it all.the.time, but it hasn’t gotten much play this year since I’ve been learning to utilize other pieces in my wardrobe.  Whenever I tried to wear the black cardigan this year it felt like old news, but a clean white skirt seems to make this old favorite fresh.  I hope I can find more ways to wear it that keep it feeling new!  Are there old favorites in your closet that you want to make fresh again?
