Separates for Wedding Attire

We took Addie to her first wedding this weekend which meant I needed to wear something nursing-friendly.  I didn’t have wedding appropriate v-neck dresses on hand, which would have been ideal for nursing, so I wore separates.  I’d never worn separates to a wedding, but I was glad for an excuse to wear this amazing faux leather skirt I bought from Le Tote!  (See my review of Le Tote HERE.)

I’ve been slow to get into anything (faux) leather besides a leather jacket, but I tried this skirt and fell in LOVE.  It drapes well, and I mean–pockets?  HELLO!  <3

Leather skirts tend to have bad stigmas, but it turns out they can be pretty classy!  Leather is a nice way to add a little texture to an outfit.  I would pair this with a graphic tee and heels for an edgier look, or I love how option 5 below from Old Navy works a plaid shirt into the mix.  Never would have thought of that, but I really like it.  Especially with a pencil cut!  Would you try a leather skirt?

(Option 3 is a non-leather option for those who are still leery of leather.  And option 1 is only $15 and option 5 is on sale for $20!)
