Shirt Dress: Dressed Up, Dressed Down

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media GroupĀ®, InStyle, Vogue and Elle, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #inspirefallfashion  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

For the last few months of pregnancy I was anticipating the day I would regain access to the rest of my closet–just in time for fall fashion!

While I was at Target on my first trip out after giving birth (because duh, where else would I go?) I picked up a copy of InStyle’s fall issue to get my style mojo back up and running.  I also treated myself to a bonus–a copy of ELLE since Target is having a deal right now!  (Buy any two: InStyle, Elle, or Vogue and get a $5 Target gift card through 9/13.  That’s basically getting one magazine for free!)

As I flipped through the magazines I was instantly inspired with a couple of ways to revive my old H&M shirt dress: dressed up and dressed down!

Dressed Up
ELLE had a section on bold colors and how to wear them, including boldly colored suede pumps similar to ones I owned.  Another section showed a neutral outfit paired with colorful pumps.  It was easy to dress up this black shirt dress with colorful accessories:

Dress: H&M (similarsimilar)  |  Bag: Forever 21 (exact)  |  Shoes: Old Navy (similar)

Dressed Down
I showed this outfit last week which was inspired by an outfit in InStyle with a neutral tailored dress and sneakers.  I already mentioned how much I loved being able to dress down this dress, but I’ll say it again.  I LOVE that sneakers are in this fall!

Dress: H&M (similar, similar)  |  Bag: c/o Lily Jade  |  Shoes: Target (exact, similar, similar)
