Summer Staycations

This is another take on one of my summer outfit formulas. Let me just say I LOVE SUMMER. I love sunshine, longer days, bright colors, and people who are in better moods because they’re on vacation. Can I get an amen? Can I get vacation while we’re at it? B and I won’t be taking any vacation time this summer together, but that’s fine by me because I’ve had quite enough traveling. I do plan on doing staycation type stuff with some friends who I work with who are also tired of traveling. After all, we live in San Diego, a city where many people would love to escape to and enjoy the zoo, the hiking trails, the beaches, and the food among the zillion other things you could do here as a tourist. But let’s be honest, when I’m on vacation I mostly want to shop anyway. So, on second thought forget the beaches…Target, anyone?
