Utility blouses are everywhere this spring, and I’m loving it! I love the extended shoulders and how the pockets add details that aren’t super soft or delicate. Totally my vibe. 😊 Utility blouses are super versatile, and today I’m sharing four ways to wear an olive utility blouse!
This blouse is lightweight with a semi-relaxed fit. I wouldn’t do a partial front tuck with it because the back is super long, so you’d end up with a tail. 😆 Instead, I do a full tuck all the way around and then blouse it out all around. One note is that it does wrinkle around the torso fairly easily, but when it’s tucked all the way in, it’s not so noticeable. Available in straight and petite sizing HERE. I wear size XS as it runs very large.
Now let’s see some of the many outfits you can make with it!
SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
1. Dark Wash Jeans + Flats
First up, I’m pairing this olive utility blouse with dark wash kick flare jeans and flats. I like how the dark wash works with this shade of olive compared to lighter washes.
These kick flares are the Wit & Wisdom ones I showed in the post 4 Styles of Jeans to Wear This Spring. They are really comfortable, as they’re super soft and super stretchy. They have elastic in the waistband for all-day comfort, too! The dark wash is easy to dress up or down, and the kick flare style is flattering and works well with tons of different body types. Find the jeans HERE. I’m wearing size 6.
I showed two versions of this combo: one with flats and another with black loafers and a black cardigan. You can add shoes and layers of your choice to this versatile outfit base!
BTW, I really like how the tan strip around these loafers adds dimension and a little extra character! You can find the loafers HERE. I wear size 9.

2. Black Wide Leg Pants + Flats or Heels
Black and olive is a great combo! Here I went with black wide leg pants. I’ve shared these pants several times and have already told you how much I love them! They’re soft, flowy, and comfy! You can dress them down with a t-shirt and sneakers, and you can dress them up for work or for a nicer casual outfit with a blouse, like I’m doing in this outfit. I like how the two flowy pieces create a relaxed, but polished and stylish outfit! Find the pants HERE. I wear size 6.

3. Ecru or White Jeans + Flats
You can create another casual outfit with this olive utility blouse when you pair it with ecru or white jeans. The olive pops nicely off of ecru!
My jeans are old, but there’s a current version HERE. That pair is sturdy but stretchy and comfy, complete with the elastic waistband. I wear size 6.

4. Ecru or White Trousers
You can do a work version of the previous outfit by going for trousers instead of jeans! Easy peasy. These trousers are stretchy and comfy. They come in several colors and in straight, petite, plus, and tall sizing HERE. I wear size S.
