How is back to school season going? Our family has already been in school for three weeks, but we are still settling into our new rhythms and routines. I’ve rounded up several great items to help you with back to school wardrobe needs, whether you’re looking for athleisure, everyday casual, or work styles. I’m also sharing some back to school fall outfits you can make with them to really help you settle into the back to school season with ease.
SIZING: I’m 5’6” and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes. I’ll list sizing info for any items I’ve tried firsthand.

Sweaters
If you’re looking for some good sweaters that are really affordable, these are great!
The first one above is VERY lightweight, AND it’s short enough that you wouldn’t need to tuck it! And it’s only $19.97, HERE! I would size up in this, as I prefer size M.
The pointelle sweater is also lightweight, and the details make your outfit more stylish and visually interesting. It is also short enough that you probably wouldn’t need to tuck it! Find it HERE. I wear size S.
The other three options are great pieces that go with everything and are easy to mix and match.

Jeans & Pants
And ohhhh, do not get me started on all the jeans and pants! Nordstrom Rack carries some of my favorite stretchy, comfortable denim brands at FANTASTIC prices!
All of the wide leg jeans (in the blue wash, black, and rust orange) are from Whetherly, and those jeans are all SUPER comfortable! They’re really soft and very, very stretchy! They feel like other jeans I own that are $99, but these are only $42.97!!! Find the blue pair HERE and the black and rust orange pairs HERE. I fit both sizes 27 and 28 but think I prefer 27.
The dark wash kick flare jeans and the black kick flare jeans are both from Democracy, who makes denim that’s really comfortable and stretchy. And they’re available for only $44.97! For both pairs, I fit size 6 best.

Shoes
And last but not least, SHOES! Nordstrom Rack is one of my favorite places to buy shoes because you can get GOOD QUALITY shoes for much less and save huge! Now, let me caveat this by saying that this section contains items over $50, but the shoes are still at great value for what they are.
One of my favorites is THIS pair of sneakers, which are my most worn, go-to sneakers that I now own in several colorways. Super comfy! See all the colorways HERE. I wear size 8.5.
I also want to highlight this pair of red Mary Jane flats, which is a SUPER popular style right now! This pair has really good reviews and are pretty affordable for a great brand of shoes. They come in other colors as well. See them all HERE.
