Christmas Eve hasn’t happened yet, but I wanted to show you what I will be wearing for it. Our church’s Christmas Eve service is pretty casual, and while I could have reworn THIS OUTFIT, why not something different, eh?
I don’t have a ton of red in my closet, but it doesn’t matter because I think maroon and purple are fun alternatives for festive attire. If I had some gold, I would have worn that too!
And now, this coat. In the other post when I was counting coats, I totally forgot about this one! Benson found it while FINALLY unpacking our clothes into our new closet. (We’ve lived in this new house for 4 months and our closet has been in need of rods and shelving!) I’ve had the coat for 5-6 years, but it was the kinda thing where you buy a piece for a style/lifestyle you wish you had rather than one you actually have. (This was pre-blogging and before I became wiser about purchases.) I couldn’t bear parting with it though because it’s such a nice coat for only $34! Thank you, Nordstrom Rack!
We’ll see if I can make more use of it now that I’m a little older, I can be a little more creative with pieces, and uh, now that I know I have it! Haha. At the very least I’ll definitely take the opportunity to wear it this Christmas Eve!
