Brrr, it’s getting cold! It’s the time of year when all you want to do is wear five blankets and fuzzy socks, and figuring out what to wear besides that can feel like an extra drag. I find it extra important in the winter to have outfit formulas — go-to outfits you can rely on when your brain can’t think of what to wear.
Today, the Winter Wardrobe & Outfit Guide is now available! It’s full of ready-to-go outfits that will help you get dressed faster and feel pulled together, even on days you don’t want to get out of bed. And I’m sharing four outfits from the guide that you can copy this winter for easy style!
If you’re looking to keep your wardrobe feeling current while making it easier to get dressed every day, grab the Winter Wardrobe & Outfit Guide now. With it, you’ll know exactly what your wardrobe needs to work this season, be able to build outfits quickly, and finally say goodbye to that frustrating “I have nothing to wear” feeling.
You’ll also see wearable winter trends and get ideas for how to incorporate them into your existing wardrobe, so you can keep your style current without the overwhelm.
Even though I’m the one who creates these guides, I personally find them SO helpful. Having all my outfit ideas in one place makes it super easy to get dressed every day. Even if I don’t follow the outfits exactly, having a visual spark makes the process so much easier and takes a huge mental load off my plate.

Four Casual Winter Outfit Ideas to Copy

Burgundy is a theme for this winter’s guide, and it brings a beautiful, rich element to outfits. Put a wintry, current spin on a regular old white tee + jeans combo by bookending it with a burgundy puffer vest and burgundy sneakers. It’s so easy, but it looks so cute! And if you prefer a different color, swap in that color instead.
By the way, I love and totally recommend these jeans from Quince. They are comfortable with stretch but are sturdy and structured, so you look polished. This colorway is a little thicker and softer than others — each colorway feels a little different. But other colorways I’ve tried are still good!
Shop the Outfit:
Tee: Gap Factory (I wear size S)
Vest: Old Navy (I wear size S)
Jeans: Quince (I wear size 6/28)
Sneakers: DSW, Walmart (similar and affordable — I wear size 8.5)

Take a top with any all-neutral print and pair it with pants and a layer that echo the colors in the print, like black and brown do here. This style strategy is called “color pulling” and is a SUPER easy way to create cohesion in your outfits.
You can keep it neutral by finishing it off with black boots. Or, you can add that seasonal color burgundy with burgundy earrings and/or shoes.
Shop the Outfit:
Top: LOFT; similar
Jacket: Express
Jeans: Quince (I wear size 6/28)
Flats: Dolce Vita | Amazon (similar)
Boots: Nordstrom (I wear size 9 — these are water resistant and are great)

Another great winter color is deep green, but you can totally swap in your favorite color if you want something different.
One tip for winter is to wear corduroy or velvet pants, as they are thicker, cozier, and help keep you warmer during the cold months! This pair of corduroys is a fan favorite and comes in other colors as well.
Shop the Outfit:
Sweater: Quince
Pants: J.Crew Factory
Boots: Dolce Vita via Amazon (waterproof!)
Flats: Dolce Vita | Amazon (similar)

Last, go classic with a striped sweater and black jeans. To make this classic silhouette more updated, wear modern silhouettes like full-length wide leg jeans or barrel leg jeans.
By the way, this sweater is really soft and is short enough that you don’t have to tuck it (21.5″ long). It looks kind of fitted on the product page, but it actually has a perfectly relaxed-but-not-oversized fit. I love it!
Shop the Outfit:
Sweater: Target (I wear size S)
Jeans: Quince (I wear size 6/28)
Jacket: Express
Boots: Nordstrom (I wear size 9 — these are water resistant and are great)
