If anyone’s been looking for a good grey tee, I’m kind of in love with this one! Similar to how I’m always open to adding a good striped shirt to my closet, I’m starting to feel that way about grey tees. I’ve got a couple with graphics, like my
Home T and
More Love Please tee, and I have a light heather grey one from Everlane (
HERE). But I saw the one above online (
HERE) and had to try it! I loved the heather grey, and it looked soft with a nice loose fit. When I finally tried it on, I was not disappointed!
It’s the most expensive plain t-shirt I’ve ever bought, though it’s not too far off from Everlane’s prices. I used to be willing to only pay like $3 to $8 MAX for a plain tee because I just thought they looked so plain and they only way I knew how to wear them was for working out. But I’m finally convinced that a good texture like the heather grey on this shirt and a good drape make a freaking fantastic tee that is worth paying more than $8 for. Took me a while to be convinced–I’m stubborn!
It’s soft and pretty thin, which is nice for relaxed looks in warmer weather. I’m normally S/M or 6/8 and wearing this in S. Also, it’s 30% off with free shipping HERE!
Benson and I decided to have a lunch date because with how busy we’ve been, how much I’ve been traveling, and how often we’ve been sick it’s been a while since we went on a date. I remembered saying in a past post that I needed to wear these blush lace up flats with white jeans and a grey tee next, so I was glad to materialize that for lunch! I love that though all the pieces are basics, trendy shoes keep them fresh. I guess there’s the tip of the day: Wear an outfit full of basics and add one trendy and/or statement item. Be it a pair of shoes, a statement necklace, a patterned scarf, or killer earrings, that one tiny element will bring your basics to life!
BTW
these shoes are BACK IN STOCK (HERE). I’m normally 8.5-9 and wearing these in 9.
