A couple of days ago I posted a holiday party outfit that I plan to wear this weekend, but this is an outfit I wore last weekend to a holiday party for the leaders at my church.  My church is super duper casual–(it started in the late 80s by a bunch of ex-hippies, and there are still traces of that in our DNA!  haha)–so I tried to dress up in a casual way.  Oxymoron, anyone?  

I went with a jewel toned turquoise top and used one of my favorite colors to pair turquoise with–red!  On another note, yes, I wore a short sleeved top to our holiday Christmas party.  Welcome to Southern California.
