I don’t know why, but I really love a denim shirt with black jeans.  This is the third time I’ve worn something like this on the blog (first time here, more recent here), but I don’t think I’ll let it retire in real life.  I love the clean simplicity of it.  Someone on Go Chic or Go Home commented that it reminded them of Merrick, which of course I took as a huge compliment.

Anyway, I spent the weekend at a baby shower, dinner and ice cream where we were pleasantly serenaded by Aquile from The Voice Season 3, finally watching Pitch Perfect, and catching up on the earlier episodes of The Mindy Project.  Ice cream and hilarious TV are always time well spent in my book.  How was your weekend, peeps?
