You should know by now that I’m OBSESSED with clothes that are stretchy. And if not, hi, I’m Audrey 👋🏼, and I’m obsessed with clothes that are stretchy. 😆 I love for my clothes to be relatively unfussy and comfortable enough to move around, sit, and EAT in without being hindered. I want that for you, too, which is why I always highlight how comfortable and stretchy certain clothes are, AND when they have elastic in the waistband! (Stretchy waistbands = sitting and eating comfortably all day. And you know, food is my love language, so eating in peace and comfort is important for me, haha!) Today I’m keeping it super simple but super helpful – I’m sharing my favorite stretchy wide leg jeans!
Wide leg jeans have made their comeback, and there are lots of great options out there. But, where do you start? Well, let me point you to some that are comfortable and totally worth checking out!

My Favorite Stretchy Wide Leg Jeans
1. Wit & Wisdom Ab-Solution Skyrise Stretchy Wide Leg Jeans
Get ready for me to say this about every pair, but these are SO COMFORTABLE! Not only are these stretchy wide leg jeans, they are really SOFT and lightweight. Plus, they have an elastic strip in the waistband for a stretchy waistband that gives you ultimate comfort. I would honestly rather be in these than in athleisure bottoms because I feel way more stylish in them, and they’re just that comfortable.
You can dress these up and down easily. Dark wash jeans typically are easier to dress up. I wear this pair with blouses and flats regularly. I also dress them down regularly with sneakers and a t-shirt. You can find all of my wide leg jeans outfits HERE for more ideas.

For sizing, I wear these in size 6. However, one of our PMT Style Club members sized down one size in them, and she has a straighter figure and less curvy hips than I do. If you have straighter hips, I suspect sizing down would work better for you, as the waistband was comfortable for me in size 4, but they gave me a wedgie 😂, which is due to them not fitting over my curvier hips. Hope that makes sense! EITHER WAY, you can order two sizes if you’re ever unsure because Nordstrom offers free shipping and free return shipping on all orders. 🙌🏼 (Also, they virtually have no limit on how long you have to return something, so don’t worry about sending it back “on time” – you have time!)

More Wit & Wisdom Stretchy Wide Leg Jeans
This is not the only pair of wide leg jeans Wit & Wisdom has. This brand is known for being STRETCHY and COMFY with elastic waistbands – it’s been my favorite brand for comfortable denim for literally almost a decade at this point. CRAZY!
Here’s a roundup of more comfortable wide leg jeans from Wit & Wisdom. The main reason I stick with the pair above is because the rise on this pair is slightly higher than the rest of them, despite what the product listings say. ALSO, the pair I own is thinner than most of the other Wit & Wisdom wide leg jeans. So, if you want thicker ones, try some of the options below. Just random FYIs so that you’re informed while you shop!
2. KUT From the Kloth Meg Fab Ab Stretchy Wide Leg Jeans
This is another pricey pair, but they are also SOOOOO GOOD and SO COMFORTABLE! These feel BUTTERY soft! They are VERY soft. Fairly thick. And the waistband is very stretchy for comfortable all-day wear.
These do have a slightly lower rise than the Wit & Wisdom Sky-Highs. They are also thicker than the Wit & Wisdom pair above. So, whereas the Wit & Wisdom pair is so thin that it can appear thin, this KUT From the Kloth pair is thick enough that it maintains the straight leg line better.

The Meg wide leg jeans come in a variety of washes. I rounded up some more below! However, it’s important to note that I don’t know if ALL of them are buttery soft like the pair I own because the fabric of the various washes may not be the same. Also, our PMT Style Club Style Coach, Courtney, owns a billion pairs of these and says the sizing is different on all of them. 🤪 SO, again, order multiple sizes to find your best fit. 3. Draper James
There’s a new kid in town! While I have loved the Wit & Wisdom and KUT jeans for a while, this Draper James pair is new to me. But I’m already in LOVE! Here I’m wearing the same jeans, one in a dark wash and one in black. Both are stretchy wide leg jeans that are also more affordable than the Wit & Wisdom and KUT jeans – under $50 and even LESS during one of the frequent sales. 🙌🏼
These are thicker than the Wit & Wisdom jeans I own and hold their structure much better. That means the line of the leg will look more tailored and polished, which I love. These are also definitely ankle length, whereas the other two are closer to full length.
The bottom looks slightly wider and gives the pants a slight flared shape, partially due to how they fall from curvy hips. However, they are wide legs, as they are not fitted at the knees at all like true flares are. I personally don’t care either way – they look good, and they’re COMFY!! 😄 I wear size 6.
While the Wit & Wisdom and KUT pairs have been around and in stock for a while, based on how Draper James rotates their styles, I suspect these will not be restocked. So, if you’re looking for a pair of REALLY GOOD, AFFORDABLE wide leg jeans, definitely check them out now before they sell out.
