4. Heavyweight Tee
GREAT basic tee for the price! The heavier-weight fabric holds its shape nicely, so it feels more substantial and polished than a thin tee. I wear size S Petite since I have a short torso.

5. Burgundy Pants
Pants like these are really popular this season, and this pair is great! Comfy and easy to wear, and you can dress them up for work like I’m doing here, and dress them down with a t-shirt and lifestyle sneakers. Available in lots of colors. I wear size S.

7. Olive Green & Ecru Wide-Leg Pants
These have been a HUGE fan favorite! They’re lightweight and very stretchy but don’t lose their shape, so they still look polished. They come in lots of colors, too! Available in straight, petite, plus, and tall. I wear size 28.
The ecru pants are the same — I love ecru pants going into fall because it works so well with colors like olive, burgundy, brown, and navy.
8. Denim Jacket
This is a great classic denim jacket to throw on with SO many outfits, including pants, skirts, dresses. I wear size S.
9. Ruffle Utility Jacket
Cute update on a wardrobe classic. This jacket is lightweight and comfortable, and the ruffle detail gives it a little something extra. I also love how this shade of green isn’t super muddy.
10. Blue-and-White Striped Top
You can’t see it here, but this top has cute ruffle sleeves! Wear it with jeans for a casual outfit or pants for work, like I’m doing here. Available in several prints and solid colors.

11. Burgundy Floral Print Blouse
This blouse is SO pretty for fall! The fabric has a crinkled/smocked feel that adds texture and stretch, and it feels dressier than a basic top without being fussy. I wear size S.

12. Striped Wide-Leg Pants

17. Slub Notch Neck Top
I do love this top! It feels like a t-shirt but looks way nicer. The fabric is a medium weight, so it’s good for fall, as well. Easy to wear! Sizes are limited, but it’s a good one, so scoop it up if your size is available — especially when it’s on sale!
18. Barrel Leg Pants
Striped pants are having a moment, and these combine two trends: barrel legs and stripes. Aren’t they FUN? They’re soft, too! Unfortunately, the size I got is a tad too big (and I wasn’t able to get multiple sizes). I’m wearing size 6, which is roomy in the waist for me. I’d size down to 4. They’re available in other colors as well, though those aren’t as soft as the striped pair — more structured.

Nordstrom doesn’t typically have a big Labor Day sale, but there are still some good markdowns happening! I went through the sale section and pulled together some of the pieces I think are worth checking out below.
