Here are 3 fall work outfits to copy!
SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
In the Fall Wardrobe & Outfit Guides, there are 87 work outfits created from just 29 pieces, so there are tons of outfit ideas that you can create with pieces you own. (You don’t need clothes that look like the examples in the guide for it to work!) Above are three outfits from the guide that you can copy, and below is how to bring them to life.
1. Neutral Top + Brown or Neutral Pants + Black or Printed Flats
You can do this combo with your favorite all-neutral top and any neutral pants. Here I went with a white button up blouse that I remixed 6 ways not too long ago. It’s such a versatile top! I paired it with brown tie-waist pants. I like how the front pintuck detail on the pants makes outfits look more interesting (without having to try harder)!
BTW, these pants come in brown, black, and a pretty mauve. See them all HERE. I’m wearing size 6.

Pants: Kohl’s (exact–wearing size 6)

2. Colored Printed Top + Colored Pants + Black Shoes
Next up, wear your favorite colored printed top! This one is new, and a few of you asked about it on Instagram. It’s a blouse that I’ve shared in other prints over the years – it’s a good one! It’s a fan favorite because it has a simple and versatile silhouette that works well partially tucked into bottoms or in a full tuck, and it can be layered under all sorts of jackets and cardigans. And, they keep making it in new prints! See the current prints HERE. I wear size M.
These pants are the VERYYYYYY COMFORTABLE fan favorite Liverpool Los Angeles Kelsey Ponte Knit Stretch Pants. (Whew, that’s a mouthful, ha!) If you haven’t heard about these yet, MY APOLOGIES!!!! These are like the holy grail of work pants in terms of comfort. SUPER stretchy, SUPER soft, VERY comfortable, but look very, very polished all at the same time. They come in all sorts of sizing options, including straight, plus, petite, and tall, and in various colors, HERE. I’m wearing these in a size too small (size 2, omg geez, LOL)! Good thing they’re stretchy. But my NORMAL size in these would be 4.

Pants: Liverpool Los Angeles (exact–wearing size 2 but usually wear size 4)
Shoes: J.Crew Factory (similar)
3. Colored Pullover + Black Pants + Cognac Boots or Printed Shoes
Last up, wear your favorite colored sweater with black pants. You can choose ANY color sweater and ANY silhouette of black pants. Easy peasy!
To make a simple outfit like this one look more interesting, choose pieces that have interesting features. For example, choose a sweater that has puff sleeves, a faux wrap silhouette, or an interesting texture to elevate it beyond a basic sweater. (To see an example of a more basic sweater, see THIS one.) The sweater I’m wearing here has gathered at the shoulders and has puff sleeves, which adds style. On top of that, it’s thick and cozy! Find it HERE. I’m wearing size S.
For pants, instead of going for basic straight leg pants, find ones with a tie waist (like the brown one in the 2nd outfit above!) or ones that have an eye-catching silhouette, like wide leg pants. The pair I’m wearing here is a crop bootcut, which doesn’t make too much of a statement but is still a fun deviation from basic straight leg pants. The pair I’m wearing is HERE, and they are very, VERY comfortable. Soft and stretchy but professional-looking! I wear size 6.

Pants: Nordstrom Rack (exact–wearing size 6)
