The last picture is how I originally planned this outfit. I was trying to get away from the blue/green scheme I’ve been in, but I fell back into it anyway. It’s not my fault–it was fate! (Or maybe just the weather…) It ended up being too warm to keep the scarf on consistently, so I threw on the green belt instead. Then I saw this cute little green bag sitting on my floor, which my friend gave me as a congrats-on-the-baby present. Perfect echo to the green belt! I don’t think I’ve ever done the tie a scarf onto your bag thing (maybe once…? can’t remember) but like I said, it was too hot to wear a scarf and I welcomed the pop of pattern. Perfect solution. As you can see, even though I tried to fight the blue and green scheme fate was calling out to me. And who am I to fight my destiny?
