Curious–How much do you all participate in trends?  I don’t think of myself as a very trendy dresser, and if I’m ever wearing something that’s “in” at the moment it’s usually on accident, haha!  But once in a while there’s a trend that I just love so much and can’t stay away from.  Either way, adding even just a couple trendy pieces is a nice way for your closet to feel current without needing to buy a whole new wardrobe all the time.

I already wrote about these in a recent post called Shoes I’m Into This Spring, but I’m kiiiind of obsessed with these blush lace-up flats.  Since they’re pretty trendy right now it’s probably good that I’m unapologetically wearing them as often I am because who knows how long this trend will last. If you’re gonna do a trend, get your money’s worth out of it, right? 😉

As I’d hoped, they totally freshen up even the oldest of pieces.  I’m ready to pair these with a plain t-shirt and jeans next because I know they’ll elevate those plain basics!

The pair I’m wearing is available both on Zappos (HERE) and Amazon (HERE).  I’m normally 8.5-9 and wearing these in 9.  Unfortunately they’re almost sold out though still available in a couple of sizes.  They come in tan or black too.  There’s a similar blush pair from Nordstrom HERE that looks pretty comfortable.

Secondly, this top is long sold out but I found a cute floral alternative at Kohl’s HERE in the “Sara Beth Blooms” print.
