Easy Casual Summer Outfit Ideas to Copy

1. White Top + Colored Pants
This is SUCH an easy casual summer outfit formula! You can use it with nearly any type of white top and any colored bottoms. To add style, I love a button up top or a gauzy top. The one featured in the image above can be found HERE.

A couple more options I’m personally loving are: 1) this gauzy button up which is really soft and has a relaxed but polished vibe, and 2) this linen button up which looks crisp without being stuffy. I wear the gauzy button up in size S and the linen button up in size XS — size down for this one.

Top off your outfit with neutral accessories or an additional pop of color!

2. Black Linen Top + Denim Shorts
You can wear this outfit formula with ANY black tank, tee, or top, BUT a linen tank like this one is super popular and on-trend right now. Besides it being popular, what I really like about it is that it provides a little structure, which is INCREDIBLY helpful during the summer.

Many of you remark how you don’t like summer style and don’t feel pulled together*. While there are a number of factors that are important for feeling pulled together in the summer, one big one is the lack of structure in flowy summer pieces. A linen tank like this is elevated compared to a black cotton tank or an unstructured linen tank and frames your shape (and lumps and bumps) better.

3. Color Print Top + Bottoms in a Neutral From the Print
There are quite a few navy printed pieces around, and they’re great for summer! However, you can choose ANY color print top.

To make it cohesive, pull a neutral color out from the print of the top and wear bottoms in those colors. In this case, either white or navy work really well, and I chose to pair the top with navy pants. (Did you catch how I then used the white in the shoes? 😉)
