You know I’m all about getting the most out of your clothes, and I’m back with another One Piece, Many Ways post! Today I’ll show you outfits with a red and white striped tee, featuring this LOFT Harbor Tee. This tee is playful but classic at the same time, and it makes outfits feel pulled together and fun with barely any effort. 🙌

SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.

Why This Red and White Striped T-Shirt Is So Easy to Wear

This red and white striped tee is one of those pieces that adds a little personality to your outfit without being over the top. The stripes bring just enough visual interest to make a basic outfit feel more stylish, and the red adds a fun pop of color while still being SUPER easy to mix and match.

In terms of cut, fit, and fabric, this tee is thicker than average: 100% cotton slub. It’s not a thin tissue tee or a clingy, spandexy tee — it’s more structured, which looks more polished, but doesn’t look stuffy at all. It has a boatneck neckline with 3/4 sleeves, giving it an elegance that’s still casual at the same time. It does have side slits, which I generally don’t prefer since they make it difficult to do a front-tuck. But, because this is pretty long for me, I’d only really wear this fully tucked or get it hemmed which would eliminate the side slits anyway.

How to Style a Red and White Striped Tee

Now it’s time for the outfits with a red and white striped tee! The easiest way to style this tee is to utilize color pulling, which is when you pull a color from the print and use it elsewhere in your outfit. You’ll see me do that a LOT in this post, mixing and matching primarily red and white pieces in various ways.

Classic combo! I pulled red out of the striped tee and used it in a red cardigan for an instantly cohesive outfit.

2. Medium or Light Wash Straight Leg Jeans + White Vest + Sneakers
Let’s switch the silhouette a bit and go with straight leg jeans and a white puffer vest instead. This look is notably more casual, so I finished it off with sneakers.

3. Black Jeans + Denim Jacket + Black or Red Flats
The dark black jeans look crisp and polished. Finish this one off with black flats, or add a fun pop with red flats!

4. Grey Washed Jeans + Red Flats
As an alternative to the previous outfit, you can go with washed black or grey jeans instead! The grey denim softens the contrast and gives it a more relaxed feel. Easy for errands or casual coffee dates. These jeans are also Quince’s wide leg jeans. (I wasn’t kidding when I said I own them in 5 colors!)

Work or Elevated Casual Outfit Ideas

5. Straight Leg Jeans + Red Blazer + Sneakers or Flats
The red blazer ties into the red stripes and adds a sharp, cool vibe, elevating the look. You can finish it off with sneakers for a casual twist, bookend the red blazer with red flats, or simply wear tan flats!

6. White Wide Leg Trousers + Denim Jacket + Flats or Sneakers
If you dare to wear white bottoms, do it! White makes your outfit look so fresh. Ground the outfit with red flats to make it pop, and add dimension with a denim jacket.🤩 Additionally, you could wear red earrings to really bring out the red and bookend with the red shoes! (I LOVE those red earrings I linked, by the way. My fave!!!)

7. Black Wide Leg Trousers + Red Pointed Toe Flats
You can also opt for black trousers instead. Easy swap, but a whole new look. This would also be a GREAT one to add red earrings to!
