Mint and Yellow

I planned to wear this outfit for my brother’s wedding rehearsal dinner last month, but my (now) sister-in-law forgot to bring her dress! Luckily I brought several options for the rehearsal dinner, so she wore this outfit while I wore something else. Her favorite color happens to be mint, so that worked out nicely. And honestly, the outfit looked way cuter on her since didn’t have a baby belly to drape this non-maternity dress over, and her long, loose ponytail with loose waves complemented it all so well. Anyway, I finally get to wear this outfit myself for a friend’s bridal shower this weekend!

Last time I posted this dress I didn’t really style it because it wasn’t how I had planned to wear it. I was just showing it to you. And though the only changes between then and now are small things like changes in the accessories–a statement necklace and a metallic belt–boy, what a difference they make! Tweaks in accessories can go a long, long way! Plus, I think it’s fun to mix mint with another color like yellow rather than a neutral like white, grey, or tan. Would you pair mint with yellow?
