Wowwww, my first batch of orders from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finally arrived — and OH MAN, I haven’t been this excited about NSale items in a couple of years! 🎉 I couldn’t wait to share the highlights with you, because there are some seriously good pieces in the mix!
Whether you’re looking for updated jeans, comfy-yet-stylish sneakers, or wardrobe staples for fall, I have lots of try-on reviews to help you narrow down the best of the best!
SIZING INFO: I’m 5’6″ and usually wear size S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5–9 in shoes.

Try-On Reviews From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
1. Madewell Dark Wash Jeans
How fun are these?! Super soft and very stretchy, but still supportive with great rebound. The wash is a beautiful vibrant blue, and the wide leg adds a stylish, eye-catching silhouette. I’m wearing size 28.
2. Pointelle Sweater
This isn’t part of the NSale, but it’s so stinking cute that I had to share it with you! A crochet sweater is a summer staple, but they’re really, really everywhere right now. This one is ecru or off-white, and the crochet detail is soooo chic. I also love the scallop hem! Great quality and looks super stylish. I wear size S.
3. Wit & Wisdom Crop Wide Leg Jeans
Winners! Thick but stretchy, with a comfy, stretchy, elastic waistband and versatile dark wash. The v-shaped pockets add a cute detail if you tuck in your shirt, but they disappear under untucked tops. They’re very similar to the Draper James ones from Kohl’s, but in case those didn’t work for you or if you just prefer our favorite Wit & Wisdom brand, check these out while they’re on sale! Wearing size 6.

4. Treasure & Bond Sweater
I’m torn on this one. The color is gorgeous, but it’s not as soft as other sweaters from this brand. It’s also a little itchy and longer than I’d like. If you’re looking for a non-cropped option, it could work for you.
5. Wit & Wisdom Frayed Hem Boyfriend Jeans
So cute! The frayed hem gives boyfriend jeans a modern twist. I sized down to 4 for a more streamlined fit — size 6 looked subtly bulky around the hips and felt a little frumpy.
6. Steve Madden Sneaker
Cute!! 😍 The leopard print is fun, but they also come in a gorgeous mauve-brown if you prefer something more neutral. I wear size 9.
7. Zella Bomber Jacket
This jacket is nearly sold out, but it’s really cute! Look for it in case it comes back. Sporty, stylish, and super comfy! The ribbed sleeves and back add stretch, and it pairs well with leggings or sleek joggers. I’m wearing size S, but if you’ll layer it over long sleeves, consider sizing up.
8. KUT From The Kloth Wide Leg Jeans
SO GOOOOOOD! These are starting to sell out, so hurry! In my last post, I wrote that I tried a pair on in store and wasn’t sure if they were the same as the ones online because the color was more faded. I can confirm they are the same, and that’s AWESOME because I love the richer blue wash in person — way better than they appear online.
This PMT community fave style is soft, stretchy, and supportive. The rise is 10.5”. I wish it were 0.5” higher, but it still works for me… and oddly, the pair that got delivered to me feels slightly higher than the pair I tried in store. (Woohoo!) I’m wearing size 4.
9. Dolce Vita Sneaker
These sneakers surprised me! I was hesitant because they looked pinkish online, but they’re a pretty ecru in person. They add texture and interest to outfits, and I like how they’re softer than stark white. The footbed is cushioned, with a thicker cushion at the heel. Wearing size 9.

10. KUT From the Kloth Raw Hem Wide Leg Jeans
If you want something shorter with a raw hem that’s just as comfy, check these out! Not part of the NSale, but on sale for just $49 — that’s 50% off! They’re stretchy, super COMFORTABLE, sooo soft, and have all the things PMTers love about the Meg Wide Leg Jeans. Wearing size 4.
Note: This wash leans a bit more faded/grey than the full length pair I showed in #8. Think about what colors you wear most — this could be a great option if you prefer a softer wash over something more saturated.
11. NIC+ZOE Wide Leg Jeans
Here’s a GREAT pair in a more saturated wash. These aren’t part of the NSale, but they ARE on sale. And they’re GOOD and selling out QUICKLY! Super SOFT, stretchy, and comfortable! Thin and lightweight, perfect for summer to warm fall. Great for curvy hips AND straighter figures. Wearing size 27.
12. Wit & Wisdom Black Pants
These are SO COMFORTABLE! Luxurious feel, stretchy, soft! Oh man! They feel good and look so polished. Such a steal on sale. Definitely at least TRY them while they’re on sale and available! I originally tried these in 6 a while ago, and they looked frumpy on me, but they look so good in size 4! 🔥 (This is why nailing the DETAILS of your fit is so, so important.)
➡️ Find my shirt HERE. Love this thing! It’s stretchy through the torso, comfortable, and looks great with both jeans and pants for work. The flutter sleeves add a cute detail to level up an otherwise basic piece. And it’s only $19.97!! I wear size S.
13. Blondo Waterproof Boot
LOVE these! They’re waterproof (yes!), the high shaft works great with ankle-length jeans and full-length, and they’re surprisingly lightweight for how chunky they look. A definite upgrade from a similar NSale pair I got a few years ago which had a lower shaft and were much heavier. Great with sweatshirts, sweaters, plaid shirts, and chambray. Wearing size 9.

14. New Balance Sneaker
How adorable are these colors?! As for how they feel, they feel like what you’d expect from a New Balance sneaker — comfy and good quality, just in cute, fresh colors! I fit size 9 best in these.
