This may sound silly, but it actually took more courage than usual to put this outfit on.  I have a weird thing about certain color combinations and usually steer clear of them, namely ones that are associated with popular holidays: red and green (Christmas); red, white and blue (US Independence Day); black & orange (Halloween).

Part of having this style blog is to help me break out of weird rules I make in my head, so this outfit is in honor of that.  I don’t know what compelled me to do it all in one outfit, but I did it.  Yessir, I did.  Red and green, AND red, white and blue.  BAM.  Take that, Holidays.  I think it turned out okay, yeah?  At the very least, I was clothed and I still love the color of this skirt!
