I have been waiting to recreate this outfit from Kendi, and it was finally cool enough to. When my mom saw me in this outfit she said, “Oh, you are SO from San Diego in that yellow! People here usually wear very dark colors this time of year.” Said by the woman in bright pink. Yeah, well. Haven’t you seen how to take a summer outfit into fall, Mom? I think wearing completely dark colors through out all of fall and winter is a little depressing, but I also feel weird wearing only bright colors. You’ve gotta mix it up a little, and I think neutralizing the bright yellow with tweed is a great compromise! Do you stick to only dark colors this time of year, or are you okay with wearing some color here and there?
