BOOOOOOOOOTS. I had to wait until 8pm for it to be cool enough to bust out boots and tights lest I passed out from overheating. And even then, I barely made it. It’s ridiculously hot this week, like hitting 75-80 degrees. Even though I wore this without tights and boots during the day (tan flats of course–you know me…) the cardigan was still too much. In determination of fall weather I kept it on anyway. I keep thinking if I dress like it’s fall the weather will follow suit. Sometimes you’ve gotta show that weather who’s the boss, you know? Even if it means sweating like a fool and looking like a hot mess, I’M THE BOSS.
As planned, I caught up on the What Not to Wear series finale this weekend. Of course, I cried. Then I watched an episode of The Biggest Loser and cried. And then I got too dang hot in my cardigan and cried. So, um…maybe we’ll try this boss thing again next week instead?
