Four Easy Outfits for Work to Copy
Dress codes vary a lot between workplaces. What’s great about the outfit ideas in the Wardrobe & Outfit Guide is that you can adapt them to dress them up or down for your workplace as needed!

1. Neutral Print Blouse + Navy Pants
A blue and white vertical striped top like this is a timeless item, but it’s especially popular right now. This style is everywhere in stores! I personally prefer blouse versions over crisp button-up versions because I find blouses to be more comfortable and easier to move in. Of course it’s up to your preference!
Here I’m wearing a somewhat more casual blouse that I got last season. If you’re looking for options that are currently available, there are some to check out here: one, two, and three.
For the shoes, metallic shoes are also really popular right now. They’re a fun trend to play with, and you’ll get a lot of use out of them because they go with EVERYTHING! If metallic shoes aren’t your thing, no problem. You can go for a neutral shoe like nude or tan instead, like I’m wearing here.

2. White Shell + Black Straight Leg Pants + Statement Blazer
When it comes to easy outfits for work, this one is SUPER easy but looks really stylish. The base outfit is basics: a white shell and black pants. But, you can make that combo stand out with a statement blazer! Bonus points if you add printed shoes!
I love colorful blazers for this season, and I’m showing two versions of the prompt. The first is a close copy of the prompt with a red blazer. In the second version I’m wearing a blazer in a totally different color, green. Because the base outfit is all neutrals and basics, you can opt for a blazer in ANY color. How easy is that?
Then, you can finish off the outfit with neutral shoes or elevate it even more with printed shoes!

3. Black Top + White Pants
Seriously, does it get any easier than simple black and white (or cream or ecru!) pieces? Now, if you’ve tried a combo like this before and have found it too boring, here are a couple of things to make it less boring:
First, choose a top with interesting details, like flutter sleeves, dolman sleeves, texture, buttons, or an interesting shape. Details like this elevate the top beyond a basic and add more visual interest. For example, the one I’m wearing here has flutter sleeves and adds style – without me having to try any harder or add more pieces to my outfit. (The one I’m wearing is only $19.97, by the way! It’s super easy to dress up for work and dress down with jeans! Find it HERE. I’m wearing size S.)
Second, add more oomph with a statement shoe, like metallic or leopard print shoes.✨

Pants: Old Navy (wearing size S in Silver Grey, similar)
Sweater: Target

4. Neutral Print Top + Black Pants
Take any neutral print top and pair it with bottoms in the same color as a color from the print. This style strategy is called “color pulling,” and it helps you effortlessly create cohesive outfits. Here, my top has black and tan, so I paired it with black pants. So simple but so effective, right?
This top is really cute, by the way! It has a bubble hem, so you don’t need to tuck it*. You can find it HERE. I’m wearing size S.
Also, my pants are SO, SO comfortable! They are REALLY stretchy, smooth, and soft. Just so dang comfortable! You can dress them up like I’m doing here or dress them down with a t-shirt and sneakers. They go in and out of stock, so if they’re not available in your size, check back later this season. Find them HERE. I’m wearing size 6. There’s also a super similar pair HERE with fantastic reviews. Last, if you want to see me style these pants 8 different ways, check out my post 8 Outfits With Black Wide Leg Pants.
