This outfit makes me so happy.  Not sure why.  I also don’t know why I bothered to call this a “weekend outfit” because weekend and weekday outfits are almost synonymous for my lifestyle.  Either way, this was a perfect outfit for my weekend of church band rehearsal and errands.  

Let’s talk about details for a second.  This outfit is all about the details, which is a huge thing I’ve learned over the last year of blogging.  At the risk of being a freaking broken record, I have to say this because I still marvel at it: One year ago I was on the verge of getting rid of these jeans, I didn’t own a single plain tee because I thought basics were useless, and I only wore scarves in December.  But little details like rolling up pant legs, tucking the shirt in just a tiny bit, and adding a lightweight scarf make the most standard basics–jeans and a white tee–into a put-together outfit that makes me all sorts of happy.  Basics + details = win in my book!
