BTW, I LOVE this dress. It has so many details that make it look elevated and stylish, but it’s really easy to wear thanks to the built-in waistband and fit-and-flare silhouette. It’s also fully lined and has pockets! Comes in TONS of super pretty colors, HERE. I’m wearing size S.

2. Lifestyle sneaker 

A lifestyle sneaker like this one is a must-have year-round, and certainly for spring! These are part of my spring capsule wardrobe, and they’re a great everyday option if you need a neutral shoe to wear with a wide leg pant OR a fun print — including for athleisure or casual looks!

I really love this pair with its gum sole and black accents that add dimension to outfits. Not to mention they look sleek and modern. Plus, there’s a comfort insole, so they’re cushy and comfortable! Find them HERE. I wear size 9.

Here I’m wearing the same pair of lifestyle sneakers with athleisure. While you could wear a more athletic type sneaker with athleisure, I like having a lifestyle sneaker that works with both casual and athleisure, especially when it comes to trips and packing. This short sleeve sweater is super soft and easy to wear. I LOVE that it’s short enough not to tuck!

These jeans are my FAVORITES right now. I own them in 5 colorways, haha! They’re stretchy and super comfortable, but they also hold their shape and don’t get weird and saggy throughout the day.

4. Athleisure sneakers 

You definitely need a pair of shoes you can wear for light to medium activity. This pair of New Balance sneakers is really, really comfortable. And they’re versatile! You can wear them with sporty bottoms and athleisure tops, or you can wear them with jeans and a sweater to Disneyland (like I did!). You can even wear them with a skirt or dress if you’ll be doing heavy walking.

I wore these sneakers to Disneyland, and on the first day my feet were a bit sore, but not bad. For our second day at Disney, I added this insert that I wear with other shoes, and it made a huge difference. Even though this cushion is only for the heel (plus gives a little lift!), it made my entire foot feel cushioned, even the toes. I have no idea if that’ll be the case for others, but just thought I’d share what works for me. I wear these inserts in most of my sneakers anyway!

5. Birkenstocks 

Birkenstocks are one of those lowkey, classic styles you can wear year after year. This color is such a pretty neutral that can go with all the spring shades!

These sandals are great with wide leg jeans, barrel legs, and linen pants!

Here they are with linen pants and a tank for an easy spring-to-summer outfit! I love how the subtle sheen on the sandals elevates the outfit — it gives the outfit just a bit of oomph and a “lift” for that extra style and polish.

They work super well with barrel leg jeans, too!

These jeans are the Old Navy barrel leg jeans that are STILL my favorite pair of barrel leg jeans I’ve tried. They keep their shape, the length is great, and they are really affordable (when Old Navy has one of their frequent sales). Find them HERE. I’m wearing size 6, and they’re still a little roomy.

My tank is super duper affordable, and I live in these in the summer. I like the high neckline and how it’s fitted but not clingy — tucks REALLY well into jeans and wide leg flowy linen and summery pants. Find it HERE. Wearing size S.
